Process
I began with sketches, moodboards, and character animation tests. I passed off my ideas to Abby Stokes, who turned them into a script for me to work with. I then designed style frames and began animating everything in After Effects. During this process, I sent versions of the animation to Ethan Martin, who created the wonderful original score.Â
In After Effects, I used the Rubberhose 3 plugin for the green characters' legs. Every other limb was good ol' fashioned position + rotation keyframes or a stroke with a path.
