Happy National Lemon Juice Day 🍋! Not to be confused with National Lemonade Day (Aug 20th), Lemon Juice Day celebrates the history of lemons in North America.
The lemon was introduced to the Americas in 1493 by the contentious Christopher Columbus. I incorporated this historical fact into the animation while also adding a touch of humor.

The Process
I begin with lots of sketches and research. Following that, I start to work on a design style, color palette, and brainstorm the "script" of the video. In this case, I thought it would be helpful to create an animatic or a video composed of still images showing (roughly) what the final animation will look like. Finally, after implementing comments/changes from the client, I animate the video, adding all of the subtle touches and making sure it loops seamlessly!
